I’m Iain.
I’m a photographer based out of the quiet countryside of Portadown, Northern Ireland.
I’m someone who loves meeting new people, my family – Erin and our dog Hudson, eating good food and drinking lots of specialty filter coffee.
More importantly, I’m a big believer in marriage and the love that it celebrates. In September 2018 I got to marry my best friend Erin. We were both young but we think there’s something truly special about marriage and after dating for 7 years, we didn’t want to wait any longer.
Love isn’t just a feeling but it’s a verb, a continual action. Something we must do even when it gets tough. There’s something truly special when two people commit their lives together, before God and their loved ones and vow to love each other “until death do us part.”
Three Fun things about me:

Erin and I have been together since we were 15 & 16 years old. Over 8 years now!

We recently got a new addition to the Irwin household. Our doggo, Hudson! He’s a cavapoo and has just celebrated his first birthday. He loves belly rubs and running through the country fields.

My favourite series of recent, if you don’t mind the odd fright, is “The Haunting of Hill House”. It’s without a doubt one of the greatest series I’ve ever seen for the acting and cinematography. I’m a huge fan of a well made Movie/TV Show.
I’ve Been Shooting weddings for 5 years now.
It has been and still is incredible to be in a world surrounded by so much joy and happiness. You can guarantee that at every wedding I’m sitting there grinning from ear to ear. It’s what makes my heart race. Seeing people so full of love on the greatest day of their life is a gift I take with humility.
I’m not about those staged stiff fake poses that make you cringe at the thought of them. Getting to know you as a couple is incredibly important. Telling your story as yours. The small in-between moments and the big emotional stuff. All of that comes with ease when you feel safe to be you, and we take the time to get to know one another.
You deserve photos you can look back on in 50 years and smile with a heart full of joy. Photos packed with real and honest emotion. To me that’s what it’s all about!
